Amspec Limited have grown over the last 20 years into one of the most capable and exciting Design & Build enterprises in the Northwest, currently operating in 4 key sectors: -

  • Specialist and Bespoke (our Specialist and Bespoke service involves the Design and Manufacture of fitted and loose Joinery products).

We currently have a vacancy for a Key Operative to join our Team.  You will be responsible for ensuring all general labouring duties are carried out to assist both Amspec personnel and various other trades on various sites. This role also consists of a driving element, so you must have a clean valid UK driving license and ideally experience of driving Transit / Flat Bed / Delivery type vehicles.    You must have at least 2 years Construction Site experience with a valid CSCS Card.  Any Construction related qualifications – Asbestos Awareness / Working at Heights / Fire Awareness / First Aid is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.  You must be able to work to tight deadlines, follow instructions and ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times.  You must also be a great team worker with the ability to work unaided.

Competitive rates of pay negotiable dependent upon experience and Construction related qualifications.  The hours of work are 07.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday (with a 30-minute lunch break and overtime may be necessary on occasion).  We offer 21 days plus Statutory Bank Holidays per annum.  We offer a Company pension scheme along with a Company reward and recognition strategy to motivate and reward staff who consistently display excellence in promoting our core values.
