Design and Manufacture of fitted and loose Joinery products).


We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable and keen individual looking for an
Apprenticeship in Bench Hand Joinery. As a business we recognise that our strength

development of individuals from the beginning of their career all the way to fruition,
resulting in happy, experienced, skilled tradespeople.


As a Bench Hand Joiner Apprentice with Amspec, you will have the opportunity to
work alongside a great team of skilled Joiners with several years’ experience in our
new Joinery Manufacturing Workshop, whilst undertaking a day release Apprenticeship via College.
Your duties would include (but not limited) assisting with the manufacture of items
ready for installation on Site, such as door / window frames, architraves, cubicles,
IPS panels, bespoke desks, cupboards, base units.


The hours of work are 07.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday (with a 30-minute unpaid
lunch break). You will be entitled to 21 days holiday per annum plus 8 statutory bank
holidays. The National Apprentice Rate will also apply for the first year of training,
which will be reviewed thereafter.

The successful candidate must be hard working, punctual, reliable, driven and committed. You should also be able to take direction, use your own initiative and have an eye for detail. GCSE grades in English and Maths at grade C / 4 or above.
