Amspec Limited have grown over the last 20 years into one of the most capable and exciting Design & Build enterprises in the Northwest, currently operating in 4 key sectors: -

• Specialist and Bespoke (our Specialist and Bespoke service involves the Design and Manufacture of fitted and loose Joinery products).

We have vacancies for a group of Key Operatives to join our fantastic Team.  You will be responsible for ensuring all general labouring duties are carried out to assist both Amspec personnel and various other trades on different sites across the Northwest.  Please note, this can be quite a manually intensive role at times as you will be manoeuvring lots of different types of Construction materials.  

Ideally you should have at least 2 years Construction Site experience.  A valid CSCS Card is essential and any Construction related qualifications are an advantage but not essential as training on mandatory courses will be provided.  You must be reliable, follow instructions, able to work to tight deadlines and ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times.  You must also be a great team worker with the ability to work unaided.

A driving license is also essential as you will be required to get to a local pick-up point in order to travel to / from sites in a works vehicle.

Good rates of pay negotiable dependent upon experience and Construction related qualifications.  The hours of work are 07.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday (with a 45-minute lunch break.  Overtime is paid at time and half after 40hrs worked during the week and on Saturdays / double time for Sundays.  We offer 21 days plus Statutory Bank Holidays per annum and a Company pension scheme with Royal London.   Amspec provide an Employee reward and recognition strategy to motivate and reward staff who consistently display excellence in promoting our core values.
