We are currently recruiting an experienced Site Foreman (ideally with a trade background) who is highly motivated and driven.

Overview

This is a key role managing and overseeing the day to day on site activities, reporting directly to the Site / Projects Manager.  The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and supervising teams, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

 

Duties (this list is not exhaustive)

  • Manage, supervise and coordinate the direct and subcontracted labour
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Implement H & S regulations
  • Communicate effectively with team members, contractors and management
  • Provide guidance and support to team members

Qualifications / Essentials

  • SMSTS Certification
  • Valid CSCS card
  • At least 3 years Supervisory experience
  • A keen eye for detail with up-to-date Construction knowledge
  • First Aid at Work Certification
  • Asbestos Awareness / Fire Marshall / Manual Handling desirable, however training can be provided if necessary.
  • Strong leadership & communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities

This is a full-time permanent position, to start imminently. The normal hours of work on site are 07.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday (40hrs). 

Excellent competitive rates of pay offered based upon qualifications and experience.

Overtime rates payable.

We offer 21 days plus Statutory Bank Holidays per annum, with a company pension scheme and staff reward and recognition programme.

You must hold a full UK driving licence.  A Company van may be provided or mileage allowance paid if using own vehicle.
