We are currently recruiting an experienced Site Supervisor for a large Fit Out and Refurbishment project in Manchester City Centre.  

Summary of Role

Based on site full time you will be responsible for coordinating, managing and instructing Site Workers (direct and subcontracted labour), setting tasks / goals for the team, assessing and managing safety hazards in the workplace.  Responsible for seeing the project through to successful completion, on time, within budget and to the high standards Amspec prides itself to.  This is a key role reportable to the Projects Manager.

Essential Requirements

You should have at least 3 years Construction Supervisory experience with an SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.

Valid CSCS card

FAAW certification

Computer literate (we use various Management Software systems for RAMS / Inductions etc).

Have an eye for detail.

Be up to date on all necessary H & S procedures and guidelines.

Strong leadership & team management abilities

Highly motivated and driven.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

This is a full-time permanent position, weekly paid, to start imminently.

The normal hours of work on site are 07.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

We offer 21 days plus Statutory Bank Holidays per annum, with a company pension scheme and staff reward and recognition programme.

Excellent competitive rates of pay offered dependent upon qualifications and experience. Overtime rates payable.
