Amspec strengthens fire stopping expertise through accredited training

This week, several members of our team successfully completed the PAL FireQual Fire Stopping Installer Training, delivered by PAL.

The comprehensive course combined both classroom learning and practical, hands-on installation, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills required to carry out compliant fire stopping installations. It also provided an excellent opportunity for experienced installers to refresh their understanding of current best practice, regulations and installation techniques.

Fire stopping plays a vital role in passive fire protection, helping to maintain the integrity of compartment walls and floors by sealing service penetrations and preventing the spread of fire and smoke throughout a building. Ensuring these systems are installed correctly is essential for protecting lives, property and ensuring regulatory compliance.
