Amspec welcomes a new Interior Designer, Millie Ramsey!

We are pleased to announce we have a new Interior Designer, Millie Ramsey joining our team. Millie has worked in the industry since she graduated in 2019 and we’re excited to have her on board and excited to see the talent and ideas that she brings with her.

Q&A with Millie:

Tell us a bit about yourself:

I graduated from Northumbria University in 2019 and moved to London to complete a three-month internship with a commercial interior firm. After completing my Internship, I moved back to Newcastle to be an Interior Designer in a commercial studio, working mostly on bars and restaurants. I then moved to Manchester working as a CAD technician. In-between the moving I helped develop my family’s business - Junction 4 Skatepark. This included working on the interiors, website, social media, coaching and whatever else I could get involved with. I also run an online ETSY store which keeps me busy in the time I have left.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work I enjoy Go-Karting and socialising with family and friends.

What was it about Amspec that made you want to join?

I love the design and build aspect - seeing a project through to completion with bespoke joinery. Amspec work on a range of commercial projects providing solutions for a wide range of clients.

What are you most looking forward to about working at Amspec?

• Being back in the world of Interior Design at a developed practice.
• Producing designs as a team to meet client’s deliverables.  

 Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself running / producing my own projects with a bank of knowledge on materials, finishes and 3D software.
