Once the centre of the global cotton trading industry, the Grade II listed building, the Cotton Exchange is now a thriving hub in the heart of the commercial district in Liverpool. The unique building offers 7 floors of office space with amazing views of the city.
The building has undergone extensive refurbishment and after having previously done design and build on other floors, Amspec were selected on behalf of Bruntwood to refurbish the office space on the 3rd and 6th floors.
Amspec carried out the following:
- Strip out of partitioning and suspended ceiling
- Full electrical installation including lighting and distribution boards
- Floor finishes
- Plumbing, new radiators and heating system
- Plastering and lining of walls
- Remedial works to windows, replacement of windows and installing secondary glazing.
- Lift shrouds
- Installation of smoke and fire alarms
- Installation of laminated doors
- Installation of kitchens
- Decorative foliage
- Decoration throughout
