Cotton House, Liverpool

Once the centre of the global cotton trading industry, the Grade II listed building, Cotton House, in the Cotton Exchange is now a thriving hub in the heart of the commercial district in Liverpool. The unique building offers 7 floors of office space with great views of the city.

After having previously refurbished many areas of the building, we were asked recently, on behalf of Bruntwood, to carry out Window Replacement Works on all floors. 

We removed the existing windows & frames and installed over 300 new double glazed windows and Aluprof Slimline frames. We also removed all the window cills, and lower window panel to install new pattresses ready for the new cills and decoration. 

The works will significantly improve sound reduction whilst substantially reducing the amount of heat loss through the windows and in turn, reducing energy bills.
