Station House

Station House is a Bruntwood-owned building with rentable office space in Altrincham, a lively suburb of Manchester.  Amspec were selected on behalf of Bruntwood to refurbish the reception & communal areas, bike stores, W.C’s and the whole of the fifth floor. We also manufactured all the bespoke joinery in our workshop.

We designed and manufactured a white laminated host station which sits on casters. The front of the reception desk was fitted with feature back panelling and integrated with LED lighting.

We installed a teapoint with bespoke kitchen units and a Corian worktop, designed using Ovvos. The kitchen was built with integrated units for a fridge, dishwasher, bin storage and Zip taps. The teapoint was finished with a bespoke island made with a graphic lightbox, LED lighting and feature powdercoated steelwork.

The Amspec team designed and manufactured display bookshelves with bespoke S-shaped shelving units. They were clad with oak effect laminate and brushed gold aluminium sheets to give it a premium quality.

We also designed and installed lift panelling using an MDF back panel (spray painted to match the RAL colour on the surrounding walls), integrated LED strip lights and real oak slats. Matching oak pattresses were fitted around the lift controls to finish.

Innovative work pods were designed and manufactured, using a bespoke slatted wall, integrated LEDS, ceiling detail, feature pendant lighting and space to display foliage. Next door, we designed and installed a phonebooth with  Autex groove wall mounted acoustic panels and acoustic glass to give complete privacy.

We finished the reception scheme with a Microcement celling to compliment the exposed concrete pillars. New feature lighting and flooring was installed throughout, including brass transition strips to define the different communal areas.

5^th Floor Office - Improveasy

On the fifth floor we stripped out the existing offices. We installed new carpet and lighting throughout with LED panel lights and PIR control modules. We replaced the AC with a new VRF system throughout the suite. All walls, woodworks and metal work including skirtings and radiators were decorated. We installed new furniture and new bespoke live planters in white MFC which were line with a heavy-duty waterproof liner.

 Bike Stores/Shower Rooms

We built bespoke bike store doors and timber stairs with a bespoke steel handrail. We refurbished the W.C’s and installed a moisture resistant ceiling to the shower room.
